James G. Dalessandro became the director of Main Street Warren on May 19th, 2008. As our director, he is responsible for initiating, coordinating and implementing a downtown development program that utilizes the national Main Street Community process of four committees: Organization, Promotion, Design and Economic restructuring.

Prior to joining Main Street Warren (formerly known as Warren Grows), Dalessandro worked as a sales associate and key holder for an international retail operation; field academic advisor at DeVry University; executive search consultant with Global Recruiters Network; consumer loan and vendor relations specialist at FirstMerit Bank and a development manager with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, where he raised more than $2.5 million. He understands the critical needs of small and medium sized businesses, having operated his own retail clothing company and an advertising agency that specialized in placing print media in regional and national publications.
He is affiliated with KSUs Alumni Association, Blue and Gold Club and Alumni Student Recruitment Program and has been on the National Fraternity Alumni Board for 25 years. Dalessandro is also part of the Cleveland Advertising Association, volunteers with Meals On Wheels and St. Pats Hunger Center and received the Distinguished Sales and Marketing Award from the Sales and Marketing Executives of Greater Cleveland.
